Saturday - October 2nd:

This is the second part of our Quilts on Parade weekend. Over 100 amazing quilts will be displayed throughout the building along what we are calling our "Wall of Fame". Beautiful quilts from the very large to the very small. Quilt designers all over the US and our very own local designers have created these masterpieces for your visual enjoyment and purchase. As you explore our Castle, you will see these remarkable quilts, learn about the various types, who made them, and the stories and inspirations behind them.

If you'd like to see over 100 amazing quilts, learn more about them, talk to quilting vendors, bid on silent auction items, and have a bite to eat, then you should come to the Senior Center on Saturday, Oct. 2nd from 10 am to 3:30 pm. Some of the quilts will be available for purchase, others will be on the silent auction, and some are "heirloom" quality that are works of art and for display only. There will be vendors on hand to show and sell the latest in materials, quilting supplies, and kits.

Tickets for admission are $5 and can be purchased in advance at the Senior Center or at the door on the day of the event. Food and beverages will be available for purchase as well. A demonstration on quilt making will be held if you are interested in learning how to get started with this craft.
